Do you have a convention, event, team, or group that consists of creative, technical, and media-oriented people? Is your audience interested in improving their careers, creativity, or knowledge of trends and technology? Then I've got the seminars, presentations, and events your audience wants to hear, to give them the advice and tools they need. Each presentation is focused on providing specific lessons, insights, and tools to help people develop themselves and their careers.

If you'd like to see me speak, please visit the Schedule section to see where I'll be next! It'll give you a chance to see what I do.

Here are the presentations I currently have available. Contact me about the ones you're interested in! Depending on the nature of your needs and organiation I do both free and paid events.

Available presentations:

  • "From Fan To Pro: Using your hobbies in your career" - How can you use what you love to do in your career? There's more options and opportunities than you may think!
  • "Fans at work: Why you don't have your dream job" - A humorous but heartfelt presentation on the psychology, habits, and outside influences that sabotage people's career ambitions. Provides not just a look at what's stopping people's ambitions from being realized, but how to tackle these issues head on. Arguably my most popular event.
  • "The Power Of Brainstorming" - Discussion of the Four Basic Brainstorming techniques, and an exercise in writing to show how to use them.
  • "Crossover Mania" - A fun writing exercise more pitched to the convention circuit - as people work together to determine how many fictional works they can "realistically" cross over. A new addtion to my repetoire, the results so far are encouraging.
  • "Career Brainstorming" - An interactive exercise that trains people to brainstorm their careers - and help each other out.
  • "The State Of The Geekonomy" - Runthrough and Q&A of Geekonomic trends, tying into my work on The Geek Scanner.

I can also custom-design presentations on the following subjects:
