Yet, something is wrong. You see that ultimate job coming, hope for that job, or got that job. Yet you wonder . . . is this right?
Trust me, it happens.
I get tired of all the fake positive-thinking "if you can dream it you can do it" stuff. Oh, yes, I do believe in the whole thing of visualizing, thinking big, etc. I just dislike the consumerist, "The Secret", wishful thinking stuff we have way too much of.
But I do believe in imagination. I'm pretty sure the regular readers here are very imaginative people. You're geeks, otaku, fanboys, fangirls, and so on.
That means you've got a chance to dream up the future.
Stop telling me about The One.
I'm not talking Keanau Reeves. In fact, I'd like to hear a little more about him since I'm very curious about how the Cowboy Bebop movie is going. No, what I'm tired of is people who have the One Book, One Website, One Pundit, On Blog that Makes All The Difference To Your Career.
I'm not buying it and if you keep going on about The One I'm going to figure you're a moron.
