So, Facebook jumps into the mobile game space, and is doing it in a manner that seems to be pretty supportive, considering. It’s taken that’s an attack on Zynga.
Zynga also lost three executives. So not a good day for them.

Living, Working, And Environment:
Are we ready for more superstorms? The answer is no. So keep that in mind in your career, your living choices, and perhaps working to make sure we stop messing up the environment.
Phoneix and some other cities are going to have problems in the future. Not surprising, but just think of what expanding population changing environment, and water issues mean to . . . well, ARIZONA.
OK gang, if you’re interested in green tech, recycling, or want one hell of a story twist for an SF novel, imagine this. Sweden’s recycling means it’s running out of garbage.
Technology:
Twitter is hiring with an IPO in mind. You are not surprised. You know what to do. Also be fascinating to watch how this IPO goes (I think it’s probably seen as “truly valuable” so will do well).
Look, now Russia is jumping further on the censorship train. The backer is also big on the anti-gay laws that have been passed as well. Technical news, yes, but also a cultural and political warning. I also wonder about the political fallout of this since now censorship efforts (like say, in the UK) have an embarrassing comparison to be wielded by opponents.
Video Technology:
Netflix profiles on Apple TV show a closer alliance. Not surprised, Netflix partners easy and Apple obviously is making a play for the Living room like . . . well everyone.

Weekly Update 7/29/2013
Hey gang, how’s everyone doing? Well, I hope! Busy as always, and here’s what’s up!
First, the next book – which does involve some reused, rewritten, and expanded work – is going well. I got the outline in place, and am fleshing out the content. It’s probably going to be a doozy – I’d guess 250+ pages. You’ll love it, trust me . . .
MuseHack had it’s first MuseHackathon! It went fantastic! We discussed marketing and publicity, and had a lot of great results. Next one should be late August/early September and is currently scheduled to be focused on monetization.
MuseHack also had it’s first of it’s job/want/need/opportunity Postings! You can see it here, and hopefully it’s already helped people out! In fact I already got one for the next post on Friday. So if you need help, see opportunities, etc. let us know!
I’m going to be speaking at Con-Volution 2013! Looks like I’ll be doing quite a few events, including Fan To Pro, Crossover Mania, The Power of Brainstorming, and Epic Resume Go!
